Caucasus Voyagers Attends Universal Tourism Exhibition in Shenzhen, China

On March 28, 2024, Caucasus Voyagers came to the beautiful city of Shenzhen to participate in the 77th UTE Universal Tourism Exhibition.

Shenzhen is an important port city and transit hub in China. On one hand, a large number of local tourists from Shenzhen have outbound tourism demands; meanwhile, many mainland tourists also use Shenzhen as a departure point for traveling abroad. Therefore, Caucasus Voyagers attended the exhibition.

According to calculations from the Data Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, during the Spring Festival holiday in 2024, approximately 6.83 million Chinese inbound and outbound trips occurred, of which about 3.6 million were outbound trips. The Ctrip Research Institute believes that starting from the Spring Festival, inbound and outbound tourism will enter a fast lane of recovery, and the inbound and outbound tourism supply chain will also accelerate its restoration. The China Tourism Academy predicts that in 2024, China’s annual international tourism revenue will exceed 264 million visits and 107 billion USD, respectively. Among these, outbound tourism will reach 130 million visits, recovering to about 80% of 2019 levels.

Among the many overseas tourist destinations, Chinese tourists have always favored countries that are jointly building the “Belt and Road” due to their convenient transportation, rich tourism resources, and relatively low tourism costs. The year 2023 marked the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, and these countries and regions have also become bright spots in the recovery of the outbound tourism market. Last year, during the National Day holiday, tourism in Belt and Road countries gained widespread attention to some extent, and the number of group tour bookings to Uzbekistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Sri Lanka, and Kenya increased the most. In this favorable background, Caucasus Voyagers should seize the opportunity, targeting the 2024 summer vacation, National Day, and other long holidays to increase publicity and promotion for better performance.
