From November 22 to 24, 2024, the China International Travel Mart (CITM 2024) was successfully held in Shanghai. Following last year’s event in Kunming, this marks the second participation of Caucasus Voyagers LLC in CITM.
CITM 2024 showcased the theme “Hello! China,” featuring an exhibition space spanning approximately 53,000 square meters.
The event welcomed more than 1,000 international exhibitors from over 80 countries and regions, along with nearly 600 overseas travel merchants.
As the sole exhibitor from the South Caucasus region, Caucasus Voyagers LLC maximized the opportunities provided by this international platform. The company engaged in meaningful exchanges with travel professionals from across China and around the globe, exploring strategies to promote tourism in the Caucasian countries—Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. Discussions also focused on the development of local tourism, as well as new trends and opportunities in outbound tourism from China.
Caucasus Voyagers LLC attracted significant attention from attendees with its unique tourism offerings and personalized services.
Caucasus Voyagers LLC’s travel offerings gained particular popularity for their in-depth Georgian winery tours and the highly anticipated winter skiing experiences. The winter skiing project, on the other hand, leverages the unique natural conditions of Caucasus region, offering visitors a diverse range of winter tourism experiences. Our tour programs, created in collaboration with well known Georgian wineries, offer visitors the chance to enjoy exceptional wines while gaining a deep understanding of Georgian culture. Guests also have the unique opportunity to experience the 8,000-year-old winemaking tradition and craftsmanship.
The exhibition was successful in providing both Chinese and international visitors with a deeper understanding of Georgia and the Caucasus region. Visitors to the booth received valuable information about Georgian culture, traditions, and history, as well as insights into the broader Caucasus region. The event helped raise awareness of Georgia’s rich heritage, while attendees had the opportunity to taste Georgian wine, a true symbol of Georgia’s hospitality.
In addition to these, Air China newly lunched direct flight from Urumqi to Tbilisi, which will commence on December 13, 2024, with flights on every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, increases travel options to the Caucasus region and will further promote tourism cooperation between China and the Caucasus region, especially Georgia, enhancing cultural exchanges and fostering the joint development of the tourism industry.
